We will
beat any legitimate quotation from any dealer.
- What is the difference between a
legitimate quote and a dealer quotation?
Dealers are notorious for leaving certain bits of information out on
purpose to make their deal sound ridiculously cheap.
It is only when you come to pick up the vehicle, that you realize
that all the numbers have changes. As shoppers, we must try to get as
much information as we can to legitimize the numbers
that are given to us.

Finance Quotation |
| Financing is pretty simple.
After doing the same preliminary homework of making sure that you
have the exact make model, trim, options and color, all you need to
worry about is money down and monthly payment.
There still are some tricks that dealers use
to try to confuse the customer, so I am going to give you the major
ones. Please make sure that they include taxes and fees when
they quote you payments. (destination, motor vehicles, state
applicable taxes, dealer prep fees, tire tax, and documentary
fees)
Lastly probably the most important thing to make sure of is the term
of the loan and the interest rate that they are using to quote the
payments.
After you get this information, please call us at 908-346-4323
to fill us in on the details, and we will smash your quotation.

Cash Quotation |
Probably the easiest quotation
to get from a dealer. After doing the same preliminary homework of
making sure that you have the exact make model, trim, options
and color, provide the dealer with the state you are registering it,
and ask what their "out the door" number is after all taxes and
fees, as if you were going hand them a certified check for the full
amount.

Lease Quotation |
| Leasing is notorious for hidden
fees and charges. Even Manufactures that advertise their nationally
advertised pricing for their models are guilty of this.
Dealers have sunk their teeth into this type of sell, and have
helped make it a very difficult process to get a legitimate
quotation. We hear at Red Carpet Leasing have figured out the best
way to ask for a quotation and avoid bogus hidden fees.
First you must pick a make and model of a car.
Leasing residuals and rates sometimes change based on trim lines,
and options, so it is important that you shop your exact car.
Make sure the MSRP and options are exactly the same, otherwise you
cannot compare apples to apples.
Second, set aside an amount of money you would
like to put down, and keep that consistent. Especially if you are
shopping a couple cars, it is imperative that you have one thing
that is standard, either lease payment, or money down.
Lets use $1000 as an example for money down.
Now the fun part begins, monitoring all the fees that can be
attributed to a lease.
The easiest way we have found to get a
quotation is to say the following. "I am looking to put exactly
$1000 down, please roll in all taxes and fees into the payment,
including (destination, bank fee, 1st payment, security, motor
vehicles, state applicable taxes, dealer prep fees, tire tax, and
documentary fees) I am only putting a total of 1000 down, what
would my payment be?"
This covers all the games a dealer might play,
the biggest one is trying to collect first payment at time of
delivery. You will see that salesman stop playing games once you
ask in this manner, because you are no longer the typical customer.
